Cynthia Caron

About Our President-Founder

While Cynthia Caron, President/Founder, has not experienced the loss of a missing family member, she can however, relate to the fears and frustrations that a parent must endure in advocating for their child. As a mother of three, one of which is a special needs young adult, Cynthia has the experience in advocating and helping those who cannot help themselves. Many times obstacles can present themselves when searching for a missing loved one. She can help cross those obstacles by utilizing her advocacy, marketing and Internet skills to help bring awareness to the public. There are no fees to use her services.

Six  years ago, while standing inside a Wal-Mart, Cynthia realized that those passing were walking through the entrance and nobody glanced over at the huge wall frame of missing children. She felt perhaps the general population may have become "desensitized" to the "missing child" posters. She also realized that it was rare to see one for a missing adult.

Cynthia began designing unique banners of missing loved ones which are posted on Internet web pages, blogs and forums with the hopes that a missing person will be recognized. She realizes the importance that posters will always have, however, posters are usually too large to embed in emails and on individual web pages of those wanting to assist in getting the message out to the public. Her banners are often colorful and reflective of the person missing and sized to fit most Internet sites and provides enough room to provide details. Her designs are not copyright because they are to be used and distributed by anyone. The more exposure, the more likely a missing loved one may be recognized and hope for closure.

Working with various law enforcement agencies across the country, on behalf of the families, and helping to bring awareness via the media, internet and social network groups relieves the frustrations that families endure when a loved one goes missing and enables families to have peace of mind in knowing that all the necessary steps are taking place. Cynthia interacts on a daily basis with law enforcement and a number of families who are seeking missing loved ones. She also guides those members to supportive groups of other families who have the same experiences. Linking families together has proven to be a valuable and supportive tool both emotionally and physically for those beginning the steps of searching for their missing loved one and LostNMissing is with the families every step of the way.

Cynthia Caron is in the Marquis Who's Who In The World, 2011 as well as voted one of the Top 10 Finalists in America from the television show "The View",2009, America's Top Volunteer award.

Cynthia is also the Victims Advocate for the State of New Hampshire with NamUs - National Missing and Unidentified Persons System.   To read more about Cynthia, Click this link.
