8-year-old Aja Johnson was abducted just after 10pm Sunday after a homicide in Geronimo, OK --- just south of Lawton along I-44.
47-year-old Lester Hobbs is the suspect in the girl's abduction. He's wanted for questioning in the homicide.
He's believed to be driving a 1992 Toyota passenger car with OK license plate 577BPW.

Gabriel Johnson, 8 month old male baby, (photos to the left)was taken by his mother, Elizabeth Johnson, 23, from the state of Arizona on Dec. 18, 2009. Police said she was in San Antonio, Texas, with Gabriel between Dec. 22 - Dec. 27, but the baby has not been seen since Dec. 26, 2009.

According to authorities, the mother lost custody of her son on Monday when she did not show up for a custody hearing in Arizona.
Police said the mother has threatened to harm the baby in the past.
Investigators found the mom in Miami Beach, FL on Wednesday night, but Gabriel was not with her. Investigators continue to search for him.
Police also are searching for the car that she was driving, a white 1995 Oldsmobile Delta-88 with Arizona license plate AGZ4214.

Lindsey was last seen on Friday, June 26, 2009 around 9:00 - 9:30 pm walking home from her friend's house. She never arrived home. Her father lives in Tennessee and is in the process of being deployed to Iraq. Lindsey resides with her mother and stepfather and all family members are extremely worried and fearful that something may have happened to Lindsey and foul play may have transpired. If you have ANY information, a reward is being offered. Please help bring Lindsey home.

This Alert is a hoax and is not true. The false alert has changed somewhat from state to state in regards to the type vehicle, however almost always has the same license tag. A parent's worst nightmare is a child abduction. According to the U.S. Department of Justice, 74 percent of children who were abducted and later found murdered were killed within three hours of being taken.
Why are Amber Alerts under special circumstances?
Amber Alerts have varying criteria from state-to-state due to individual state policies. Most states adhere to the general criteria as follows:
- May only be activated by law enforcement agencies.
- Activated only for the most serious, time-critical child abduction cases.
- The investigating law enforcement agency confirms an abduction has occurred.
- The victim is 17 years of age or younger, or has a proven mental or physical disability.
- The victim is in imminent danger of serious injury or death.
- Information is available that, if provided to the public, could assist in the child's safe recovery.
- In some states it is required that a witness to an abduction transpired or a
license plate number was captured in order for an Amber Alert to be issued.
Why are runaways and parental abductions not given Amber Alert priority?
If a runaway or parental abduction has clear indicators that the child may be in extreme danger, an Amber Alert will be issued under special circumstances.

On 13th January 1996, 9-year-old Amber Hagerman was riding her bycicle when she was abducted by a
man in a pick up truck. A witness heard Amber scream and saw the abduction and called the police.
4 days later, Amber's body was found.
To this day, her abduction and murder remains unsolved.
Following her murder, the "Amber Alert" system was launched, this sends out details of missing
children and any details of vehicles and other persons involved, within minutes of a child
disappearing. This has saved the lives of hundreds of children across the United States. All those
children saved, because Amber Hagerman died. A precious legacy left by one little girl.
